Boyfriend jeans are a new fit of denim receiving a lot of buzz in the fashion industry. Big Star's Karla jean is a an easy way to try this fit without going to the extreme version that you see on the runway. It's also a good choice for fans of the Lou jean who like having more room in the leg, but were wanting a lower rise. What we love about this style is that it is relaxed through the thigh and knee, but still fits snuggly at the waist. If you want a baggy fit, go with the size you normally wear, but if you want it to be a little more fitted, you might consider going down a size as it runs about about size bigger in the legs than the Mia. The Helix Dark Wash is actually more of a medium wash with fading on the thighs and whiskers on the thighs and around the pockets and light blue stitching on the back pockets. This is the jean that you will pull on after a rough day at work or on the weekend when you want to be comfortable and relaxed without looking sloppy!
